When I showed my friend this artwork,she said something interesting.
"Will you erase these lines messing around in final?"
"Don't you erase one of 2 legs?"
My answer is
"No"
In academy,we never do erase.Eraser is called "white pencil".
Basically,drawing is drawing.
In academy world,it's important to know how the artist get there.And it's worth,and can be sold.
I feel REALITY in study.
I just wondering why the wrong line goes away automatically...however I don't try to erase.
I said"wrong line",but there is no wrong line.Because these lines are really help to guide me to make the line at right place.
The more I learn academy,the more it take me to deep worid.Really fun!
この絵を友達に見せたところ、興味深い返事がありました。
「周りに描いてる試し描きみたいなのは最後消すの？」
「左足が2本あるように見えるけど、消さないの？」
答えは
「No」
です。
私たちが勉強しているアカデミーのクラスでは「消す」ということは一切しません。
消しゴムは「白い鉛筆」と呼んでいます。
基本的には「描く」なんです。
アカデミーの世界では、アーティストがどのようにしてこの絵を描いたのか？どうやって勉強しているのか？ということにも焦点が当てられ、そういった作品が売れます。
ダヴィンチの人体スケッチや、数々の習作が高く売れるのと同じです。
私は、綺麗に仕上げようとした作品ではなく、これらの習作が生々しく感じるのです。
不思議なのですが、左足が2本あるように見えるというのも、ドローイングを進めていくといらない方の線は消えてなくなるのです。消していないのに！すごい不思議ですよ。
基本、いらない線というのはありません。なぜなら、間違えたように見える線も実は正しい線へのガイドとなったりするからです。
アカデミーのドローイングは奥が深いんです。
